Use of Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the site
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or content

Products & Pricing
  • We strive to display accurate product information and pricing. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
  • We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
Orders
  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
  • We may cancel orders due to: product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other reasons. If we cancel your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
  • You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. Once shipped, please refer to our Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property
All content on sandalwoodritual.com — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and design — is the property of Sandalwood Ritual and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability
  • Our products are sold for aromatic and wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Product Disclaimers
  • Individual scent experiences may vary. Fragrance perception is subjective and influenced by personal and environmental factors.
  • Always burn incense in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • If you experience any adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sandalwood Ritual from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our products or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. For US consumers, applicable US consumer protection laws shall apply where they provide greater protections.

Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at support@sandalwoodritual.com to resolve any concerns. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in accordance with its rules.
International Orders
For orders shipped within the United States: All products are delivered from within the US. No additional import duties or taxes apply to US customers.
For future international orders: Delivered At Place (DAP). The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees applicable in the destination country.
  • You are the importer of record and are responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations of the destination country
  • Shipments refused at customs or undeliverable will not be refunded. If the goods are returned to us, we may offer a refund minus original shipping costs and any return-related fees
  • We declare the accurate value of goods on all customs documentation. We do not mark items as "gift" or declare reduced values

 

Order Acceptance & Payment
  • Your order is an offer to purchase. We confirm acceptance by sending you an order confirmation email. Until you receive this confirmation, no contract exists.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods available through Shopify Payments. Payment is processed at the time of order placement. All transactions are in US Dollars (USD).
  • We reserve the right to refuse service, limit order quantities, or cancel orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud, orders exceeding normal household quantities, or shipping to freight forwarding addresses.

Product Availability & Title
  • Product availability is subject to change. If an ordered item is out of stock, we will notify you and offer a replacement of equal value or a full refund.
  • Title to the products passes to you upon delivery. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon handover to the shipping carrier.
  • Our products comply with applicable Chinese export regulations. Import compliance is the responsibility of the customer for international shipments.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Membership Program

Eligibility: Membership in the Sandalwood Ritual program is subject to approval. Creating an account does not guarantee membership status.

 

Member Benefits: Approved members receive a 10% discount on all Sandalwood Ritual products, early access to new releases, and curated content based on their preferences. The discount is applied automatically at checkout — no coupon code required.

 

Approval Process: New accounts are reviewed by our team. Accounts are initially tagged as "unverified" and upgraded to full membership upon approval, typically within 24 hours.

 

Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify membership benefits, discount rates, or program terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email.

 

Termination: We reserve the right to revoke membership status for accounts that violate our terms or engage in abusive behavior. Revoked members will lose access to member pricing and exclusive content.

 

24-Hour Confirmation Window: If we are unable to verify your account within 24 hours of registration, your provisional membership status may be removed. You may reapply at any time.
